I heard about Renegade Marketing and Ann Sieg, it’s founder, through my association with Magnetic Sponsoring. In the forums and sites I frequented, her name was often bandied about, with respect and interest.
I saw ads for the Renegade system and I saw Mike Dillard himself recommend to a novice network marketer that Renegade Marketing should be read and used as well as his own Magnetic Sponsoring.
I thought that one of the best recommendations anyone could get. I looked into Renegade Marketing personally and my first impressions were that Ann Sieg was her own woman.
She didn’t just clone Magnetic Sponsoring’s Traffic Formula, but took her own many years of on the ground networking experience, her own successes and failures in the industry and blended it with attraction marketing.
She became successful by applying the principles that we now call attraction marketing in part on her own discovery.
The common denominator between Ann Sieg and Mike Dillard is the ability to see that the “way we always have done it” didn’t work.
They pounded the pavement, bugged every family member close enough to listen, and “showed the plan” to every kids mom they could find. They cold called list upon list to little or no result.
They then didn’t buy into the false data that “you just need more motivation.” Their common denominator is the ability to distinguish their own inability to use the tool from the inability of the tool itself.
Mike lead the way with a tools from the marketing and direct sales fields. His innovation was taking these tools to the MLM industry .
Mike stopped trying to use a spoon to dig the foundation to a hi-rise and got a Caterpillar backhoe. Correct tool.
It seems that attraction marketing is the generic name really for Magnetic Sponsoring.
Ann took that model and created her own, packaged with her unique experience and background. She aims to take those that are having trouble with “attraction marketing” and break it down for them so that they can apply it successfully.
She has developed a funded proposal and product line that is as well a turn-key system. Again, for very little investment, one can take the tools and start driving leads to your business.
She bases her system not so much on “attraction marketing,” directly, but she positions herself as a simpler method, aiming at people who can’t seem to implement other systems.
My opinion – she does have a very good system, but it’s not necessarily simpler than Magnetic Sponsoring. It is a full service system as is Magnetic Sponsoring and it is very good.
It is the difference between Mike Dillard and Ann Sieg.
It’s the difference between the original and a development from that original.
Both have ample experience in network marketing and both have unique voices and individual viewpoints.
This is no criticism of Renegade. Both systems are based on the same solid techniques that any of us can learn from the fields of direct response sales, copywriting, branding and positioning, mentoring and training.
Both systems offer excellent low cost funded proposal systems (about $40.00 for Magnetic Sponsoring – $68.00 for Renegade Marketer) to get you started producing qualified leads in the real world.
Both systems provide additional training materials that educate you more thoroughly in more sophisticated tools to grow as big as you want to grow.
Ann provides a free downloadable book called the 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing that can be used to build an email list and pre-sells her Renegade Marketing system, which you can download by clicking the title above. Magnetic Sponsoring features ads that include 7 free videos that pre-sells his system. These same links in your part of these systems provide opt in fields that help you build an email list.
Both have high quality advertising materials for your use in generating leads.
Both have affiliate programs that allow you to create income from the sale of their higher level training products.
Renegade gives you second tier commissions – a feature not present in Magnetic’s system. If someone who’s bought the Renegade system from you sells one to another, you get a small commission. Nice feature for sure. It is attractive and takes the funded proposal idea one step further.
So, you have two systems – one, Magnetic Sponsoring, is the originator of the attraction marketing model and bringing the funded proposal system to multi-level marketing and one, Renegade is a successful and creative alternative system.
I am with Mike – I personally use both systems and both bodies of data to forward my own businesses.
I take Mike Dillard’s words of wisdom to heart;
“Your education never stops. Increasing your value to others to the world never stops. You want to make 7 figures in the next 3 years? Go spend $10,000 to $30,000 on courses and consulting as quickly as you can during that time period.”

P.S. My personal opinion – Magnetic Sponsoring is the original book for the MLM industry on attraction marketing. Mike Dillard is the originator – bringing the concept into the industry in the face of no marketing at all. I feel that if you don’t read and understand Magnetic Sponsoring and re-read it about 15 times, you will miss on successful implementation of attraction marketing. Whatever system you use, the basic textbook on the subject is Magnetic Sponsoring.
I express that viewpoint after many, many rereads of the book and my comparisons to other books on the market. Mike Dillard derived his Magnetic Sponsoring from other sources such as Dan Kennedy’s book, “The Ultimate Sales Letter,” the work of Perry Marshall and others. It is a synthesis of successful techniques, plugged into a business model that did not practice such methods. All other attraction marketing systems or lead systems or businesses in a box, however good are taken from this work. So, understanding the derivatives in my view, requires understanding of the original.
I also highly recommend reading all the sources that Dillard read and digested to get his concept formulated. My rationale is the same – the more you understand the basis of a system, the better you can choose between systems and the better you can work with them to create the result you want.
