Here is the second of 6 vital, key, do or die components of success.

These 6 components come from a close look at the most successful on-line network marketing entrepreneurs -  what they actually do. It is not an idle, passive view, but working knowledge shared with me by another very successful marketer (look up Jimmy Davis… ) I know it works because I am doing it personally and successfully.

So, here is the video.

The key in applying these 6 steps is getting them in one by one, as best you can your first time through.

Then, starting back at the beginning with step one and improving it as best you can. You will have benefited from experience, more education and mistakes – so do your best.

Then move to step 2 – get it in as best you can – improved it, move it forward. It’s like a circle – getting wider and wider and stronger and stronger each time.

Your income will follow – if you continue to improve your skill by educating yourself -and pushing your limits. By finishing each thing you start and not leaving loose ends on projects…

This is how you will make it – step by step. Inch by inch.

So, as you see this video series – act on it – do something about it, however small. Obviously, the more you do the faster things will improve. I know – this is working very well for myself and my downline and my friends.

So, share this with your friends – on facebook, twitter and leave comments. I want to know what changes are happening in your execution – I dare you to do this and not come up better and better.

Try it!

I have come to very much respect the man, Eben Pagan. He is articulate and insightful in the extreme. I guess when you can run a $30 million dollar business from home, you are doing something right.

I found it extremely interesting in this video, he cited of the 5 components one needed to increase your success daily, weekly, continually – all dealt with the subject of communication  – 1. Understanding the definitions of words, or your language, 2. The non verbal factors in communication i.e. the ability to be there comfortably with another as a key factor in delivering a message, 3. Marketing 4. Sales and 5. Public Speaking

I will dig into each of these points in subsequent posts – and give my 2 cents on the inner workings of each. Listen and learn.

Do Unto Others…

Why did I pick up the phone...

I was blessed the other day with a networker friend of mine, having me sit through his cold calling leads.

These “leads” were from some free advertising spot where guys put up resumes looking for work. I say blessed because it made me realize something newly in a new unit of time.

He plowed into his list and as I listened…

He went through each, one by one, call by call. And he’s not bad, but it was all I could do not to puke.

I could feel every sneer and every funny look on the other end of the phone.

I could taste every rolling set of eyes.

I saw every silent but stinging thought of “another telemarketer… I knew I shouldnt’ve answered the phone…”

And hearing it was just as painful as doing it.

I hate cold calling like you’d hate being tortured.

I just found a little gem from a veteran entrepreneur named Mark Januszewski. He’s one of these super salesmen and has been a 6 figure earner in 6 different fields – so he is someone worth listening to and it is so simple and useable, I had to share it. Mark can be found at www.marketingmarkj.com.

“Inclusion” and “Exclusion” Language

In studying Perry (Not sure who Perry is…) I discovered there are two modes of speech.

One is inclusion the other is exclusion.

Example: Ask a kid who just walked out of Disney World how it was and his response will probably be “It was great!”

Most parents would say, “It wasn’t bad at all. It wasn’t as crowded as I expected, the prices where not to steep, really not a bad deal at all.”

The child’s language is the language of inclusion. He is telling you what is while the parent is telling you what isn’t.

The child’s language is constructive while the parent’s language is constraining.

Perry points out that most adults become habitual users of exclusion language, which is the vocabulary of doubt, absence, equivocation and diminution.

I was stunned as I examined this further because the language of exclusion creates hesitancy, anxiety and fear, which we all know, is not good for prospects, reps we are trying to coach or customers.

Sales and enrollments up 100%.

Here we are at the final mistake. The earlier posts covered 1-4 and now we come to the most mule-headed goof of the bunch…

Using the Wrong Approach

I decided not to put up a photo that really represents the type of person that does this. It would be a bit embarrassing… So I told our model to face us for the photo shoot.

Have you ever been to a party when a guest arrives in a sharp suit and a pocket full of business cards?  He or she starts with the eyes….looking all around the place as if to size up all of the guests and mentally calculate his method of attack.

What do you do?  You can tell it’s going to happen before it even happens.  There they go moving from one person to the next with a smile plastered on their face and a hand shake ready and one hand in their pocket for a business card.

What is their agenda?

To put you into their business.  They want you.  How does that make you feel?  Run the other way right?  Of course it does.
